and i dont use a lot of addons, just the essentials for pvp. so its not really a crowded screen

i didnt want my illness to get in the way of my enjoyment of the game... but i guess it is?

which are things commonly related to the modern life of sitting on your ass all day looking at screens, not moving, not interacting with people, eating highly processed food with no nutrients and loaded with chemicals

pills aren't going to fix it, changing your lifestyle will

you need to change your diet, exercise daily, and get outside

We can't help you solve that mystery. All we can tell you is that there are plenty of dad gamers who are still decent at WoW and the cognitive decline you're describing has little-to-nothing to do with how the game is designed.

I've had this problem the last few years as I've gotten older. But, muscle memory has gotten better, so now I know what to press, where to move, when to use CDs etc from muscle memory alone. No longer need to look at stuff. But, that's for PvE. I still suck major ass at PvP.

i guess ill just play pvp handicapped, i still enjoy pvp. i just wanted to know whats wrong with me

We know nothing about you, are you just asking if you're the only one with less gaming skills than what you had a decade ago?

No, you're not. It's a skill, you need to work on it to keep it up. Chances are that if you start working on it it'll come back, but there's a possibility it'll never be as good as it was either. Definitely isn't a certainty though.
